After we perform our state of the art processing, you’ll be able to create prints of almost any size, share them via email, or watch them on DVD or Blu-ray slideshow.

Our expert technicians perform photo and picture scanning to digital at your choice of resolution: 300 DPI or 600 DPI. With our different package options you can choose what correction process to have for your photos.

Slide Scanning Services
Slides contain some of your most precious and prized memories. Rescue them from decay and dust in your closet or crawl space and convert them to professional quality digital files so you can enjoy them once more. After we perform our state of the art processing, you”ll be able to create prints of almost any size, share them via email, or watch them on DVD or Blu-ray slideshow.

Our expert technicians perform slide scanning at your desired resolution – up to 18MP (4,000 DPI). Processing each and every slide by hand.

Negative Scanning Services
35mm negative strips were generally included with prints after films were developed at the lab. A photographic print is simply a reproduction of the negative – you will usually get best results when scanning from the original source.

Negatives do run the same risk of deterioration and decay as all other formats. Having them scanned to high resolution digital files will preserve them for future generations. With our state of the art processing, you’ll be able to create prints of almost any size, share them via email, or watch them on DVD or Blu-ray slideshow.

Our expert technicians perform negative scanning at your choice of resolution: 2,000 DPI or 4,000 DPI.

What’s included?
All scanning services come with a free DVD-rom containing JPG files of each image. Depending on the package you choose, color enhancements and level adjustments may be included.

What is DPI?
DPI, or dots per inch, is a technical metric to describe how much detail a scanner is capturing from a scanned picture, slide, or negative. The higher the DPI, generally, the better the clarity.

For print photographs, 300dpi is a standard scanning resolution which captures most of the detail from a standard print size of 3×5 up to 8×10. Scanning at 600dpi increases the amount of detail captured tored, and is recommended as an archival best practice and to avoid having to re-scan photos in the future.

For slides and negatives, 2000dpi is a standard scanning resolution. Scanning at 4000dpi is recommended to capture the full detail and clarity of a slide or negative, and avoids having to re-scan in the future to try and extract more detail.

Professional Options
We strive to provide professional and amateur photographers alike with archival quality digital representations of their work. Native TIFF, an uncompressed still image file format is available for most scanning projects.

In general, standard dpi scanning is optimized for 4″x6″ printing, whereas higher resolution scanning allows printing for 8″x10″ and beyond.
